After spending 25 minutes Monday morning with the Unfriendliest Ultrasound Tech Ever, we are 80% sure--the tech said she never says 100% unless it's an obvious boy--it's a girl! We have to go back next week so they can get some better scans of the heart since baby was lying on her left side, making it difficult to get good scans of the heart's internal workings. I'm hoping a more skilled tech can be a little more definitive about the sex (girls DO have parts, too, you know!)
Anyway, everything looks good, and baby is healthy so far. I'm resisting every urge to fill up my registries with adorable baby girl things, like this and this, for little Iris.
